We are excited to announce the newest addition to the Starmark Local team: Joseph Santiago has joined us as the Service Center Director for our Northwest Indiana operations.

Joseph brings a deep well of leadership experience, operational expertise, and a people-first mindset to the role. Originally from the South Side of Chicago and now residing in Munster, Indiana, he has cultivated a career grounded in discipline, service, and innovation. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Joseph earned the prestigious Combat Infantryman Badge during his deployment to Iraq—an experience that shaped his strong work ethic and commitment to mission-driven leadership.

Following his military service, Joseph transitioned into the civilian workforce with great success, building an impressive background in logistics, warehouse operations, and team development. His approach is both strategic and hands-on, with a focus on solving problems efficiently and empowering those around him to succeed.

Outside the workplace, Joseph is just as driven. He’s a devoted father to five children, an entrepreneur, and an avid ultimate frisbee player. He shares his life with his fiancé, Trish, their five children, and their cherished pets—including both dogs and cats that add even more energy to their bustling household.

Joseph’s leadership philosophy centers on integrity, accountability, and cultivating a strong, unified team culture. We are confident that his presence will have a meaningful impact on our service and community relationships throughout Northwest Indiana.
